Efficient MAC Adaptive Protocol on Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have attracted a lot of attention from the research community and industry in recent years. WSNs maintenance associated with battery replacement can increase system operating costs, especially for wireless sensor networks located hard-to-reach dangerous places. In this study, an adaptive Medium Access Control (MAC) is proposed that regulate period data acquisition transmission. contrast to conventional MAC, applied MAC regulates transmission based on estimated energy use previous cycle. This study focuses comparing efficiency between MAC. Energy usage information retrieved directly node. star topology, lifetime network up 6.67% topology. hierarchical 9.17%. The resulting throughput 17.73% Star 33.81% Hierarchy network. topology without implementing has lowest 0.188 kb/s. highest achieved by applies 2.157
